What is Electrolysis?
During Electrolysis, a tiny probe, the same size as the hair, is gently inserted into the hair follicle, down the papilla (the part that nourishes the hair).  A very low electrical current destroys the papilla, ending further hair growth.

Is Electrolysis painful?
Until now the electrical current used in the process was transmitted in a fixed intensity, resulting in an unpleasant
sensation. I believe that if clients are truly desiring to get rid of their unwanted hair the process is tolerable and sometimes clients comment that the sensation is "rewarding". 

Is it safe?
As Professional Electrologists we maintain the strictest standards of hygiene. We use only Sterile Disposable Probes/Needles to ensure your complete safety. ​​

What Method's of Electrolysis
do we specialize in? 

We work with both "Thermolysis" (short wave or high frequency) or the "Blend" (Thermolysis and Galvanic combined) will be used based on your individual case.

For minor cases of light or soft hear we may use Thermolyis.  Since more of our clients have significant cases we generally work with the Blend for exceptional results. 

We do treatment on the following areas: 

• Face: 

       Eyebrows, Nose, Chin, Cheeks, 
       Upper and Lower lip. 

• Body 

       Fingers, Toes, Legs, Arms, Under Arms, Bikini, Back,     
       Shoulders, Neckline, Navel and Breasts. 

• For Men 
  
•   Under the neck, top of the nose, ears, shoulders and back. 

       We generally do not work on areas below the waist.

How long does it take?
The number of treatments required depends on several factors:

• The area being treated
• How much hair is involved
• Adherence to the schedule of appointments
• The frequency or previous temporary methods such as, waxing, tweezing and shaving
• MOST of Lynne's clients average a 6 months for massive reduction and a year for full clearing.  Depending on the factors listed above. 

Is it really permanent?
Yes! Electrolysis, which utilizes the probe, is the only permanent hair removal method recognized and practiced by the medical community and licensed electrologists.
